Fall It Up!

Let say goodbye to fall in style!

Happy belated thanks giving to everyone! Thanksgiving just passed and now comes the weekend of black friday! I mean who doesn't love the holiday season! I hope you all are ready to go out and make the best of the amazing sales waiting you way!
Fall is almost gone and now is time to say goodbye to my most loved weather season, but in style!
I put together a few more fall outfit that are perfect to transition from fall to winter!

Outfit # 1

Nothing says 'Hello winter' like a oversized white sweater! It's called sweater weather for a reason people. If you don't have a oversized sweater in your closet, you are missing out! (nope, not even kidding) The sweater looks classy and is extremely comfy for day out in the crispy cold sweater weather. Pair it up with a black pair of jeggings, brown boots and a Calvin Klein handbag and you are good to go.
Outfit details: Sweater (Hollister), Jeggings (Sears), Boots (Charolette Ruse) Calvin Klein handbag.

Outfit # 2

Lets face it. There is no way one can go wrong with neutral tones when it comes to fall and winter. So i put together this outfit because neutrals are and will always be love!
Outfit details: White tee (banana republic) Brown jacket (ross) Boots, Calvin Klein Shoulder bag, Scarf.

Outfit # 3

Who said you can not rock a plaid all year round? No one! That's right. This is the perfect outfit to step into winter and say goodbye to fall with. The sweater makes it cozy and ready for the snow, and the stocking to keep those legs warm and hot, where as the plaid skirt adds to style of autumn and welcomes it into winter. Pair it all up with some boots and shoulder bag and voila! Hello winter!

Outfit Details: Boots (Charlette Ruse), Plaid skirt (Macy), Stocking, Bag (Ross)

Outfit # 4

And for the final outfit, A flowery sweater never hurt no one. You can rock a flowery spring sweater into winter, and you need to try it atlas once! The right pattern sweater, paired with the right shoes can do wonders!
Outfit details: Jeans (Sears) Sweater (gift from my best friend Ayesha Tariq, Pakistan) shoes (Pakistan)

Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash primer review

Okayy So this one was a tough one.

I have heard some real hype about this primer. So i had to try it out! However I am on the edge with this one.

So as you can guess by the title of the post this is "a lash primer with an air-pumped texture that coats each lash with a dense, lightweight layer to intensify the effects of the mascara."
Basically it primes your lashes for a better and more intense mascara look. It is suppose to keep lashes from clumping, increase their length and maintain a better curl.

For my first impression though, I have mixed feelings about this product. On a plus side, it did increase the length of my lashes a little. However i am not so sure about the curl and the supposed intense mascara look. So here is what i did. I curled my lashes before applying the primer.
When i opened the pack and pulled the brush out it did grabbed onto a lot of product. When i applied the product, there was too much of it on the brush that it ended up clumping my lashes. It didn't went on evenly at all.

After that i applied my mascara on top and that only made them clump more. So i used my fingers to separate my lashes before they dried. There was definitely an increase in the length of my lashes. However i didn't feel much difference between using the primer and not using one. I kind of get the same look just by using my mascara alone. Actually my mascara doesn't clump up my lashes as this product did.

As for the curl, you can judge by the pictures how much of a curl you can see.

It is priced at $ 29.50 from a spear outlet or online.

I used Maybelline the colossal volume express water proof mascara.

Kat Von D 'Lolita II' lipstick review!

Absolutely in Love with this Color!

So recently I got the chance to review the lip color 'Lolita II' by Kat Von D latest lip collection. It is one of the 30 shades available at Sephora, and boy am i in love with this color!

I have been searching for the perfect nude for me for quite some time now.
I have always been skeptical when choosing a nude shade for my skin.
I have a tan-ish skin tone and most colors i tried didn't suit me for some reason.
However, when i tried this color i felt like i was reborn! (okay that's a bit too much maybe :P )
But i am not kidding. I just can't help but fall in love with the pigment.

Lolita II is a beautiful terra cotta nude, perfect shade for fall and winter. It is a brighter version of 'Lolita I, a chestnut shade'. It has a smooth matte finish and is very pigmented.
The lipstick glides over the lip like a lipgloss but dries into a perfect matte.

However, it comes with its flaws. It dried out a little too much to a point where it cracked right at the center of my lips.
I didn't retouch it because even after it dried out a little, the matte lipstick maintained it's pigment.
Now a lot of people might not like the feel of their lips sticking together out of dryness.
For some reason i didn't mind it. It didn't dry me out TOO much. Just enough to be matte.
So i guess i can live with that, i don't know about you guys.
So if you decide to purchase, keep that in mind.

It cost $20 from Sephora, so it does fall on the expensive end of the wheel.
Just something to consider. (P.S the image on my blog is a deluxe size. the actual lipstick a lot bigger than this.)

Other than that, As i said before i am in love with the pigment!! like IN LOVE. I would definitely buy it again.

For me this is a must have for fall and winter.

I mean just look at the color!
